IMO LN55B650 is a great TV with a much better quality image of 1080p TVs that was made just a couple of years ago. It worked perfectly out of the box and there are no mistakes, errors or imperfections video of any kind ... It can works very well. The sound quality is on par with the audio embedded in other HDTVs. Factoring at reasonable prices is obvious. Televisions with more advanced can cost more money ,and seems to have more errors and provide marginal improvement in terms of image quality - it is not a reasonable trade-off copared tot what you receive from a high quality LCD in this time.

Samsung LN55B650 also has a lot of additional features that are fun to play, but in the end better to leave out. Auto Motion Plus is supposed to make fast moving images look better, but what it did was making the image look strange. Edge Enhancement and Digital NR features sharpen edges and remove video noise, respectively, but the introduction of its video artifacts are probably best left that way. Moreover, the sharpness settings for is artificial sharpness - makes the image look more detailed, but also makes it look very rough and noisy - I suggest setting to 0. These are not problems that happen only to Samsung. These are common to other HDTVs as well.

If you want a very good value for the price with trouble-free design, you can not go wrong with this Samsung LN55B650 model from Samsung. It looks great, is lightweight, consumes little energy and just work without fuss. With the additional $1,000 discount from that amazon was offering a couple of weeks ago, it was really a bargain for what you get. This model is top quality in my opinion right now.
